Welcome

We are a relatively small Photographic Group, whose interest in all aspects and techniques of photography will appeal to anyone wishing to improve and enjoy their photographic skills. You will find us a friendly group, come along and see what we do.

About Us

Since our formation 60 years ago as The Weston-super-Mare Camera Club, the Group has aimed to be in the forefront of innovation and change, always ready to adapt to the ever-changing medium of photography. We encompass film as well as digital image making, and enthusiastically enter external competitions, in which we usually do well.

A lottery grant enabled the Group to purchase its own laptop, digital projector and sound equipment, which we use in our regular monthly digital workshops, which keeps members abreast of the latest imaging techniques and ideas.

The Group is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, through The Western Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, membership of which gives us the opportunity to invite visiting speakers and experts who are regularly featured within a comprehensive programme. Critique evenings, when these experts appraise our work, are popular and serve to improve our standard of photography.
